He didn't seem to do or say anything particularly special, and yet that woman's hand definitely rose, and she definitely seems to be hypnotized. What Erickson did was employ his skills as a hypnotist. The words he used, the order he used them, and the tone of his voice were the only tools he had. Now you too can learn how to hypnotize.
